SSC JEn 2016 Exam Review

SSC JEn 2016 Exam was held on 1 - 4 th March at various colleges and software companies in allover India. This year approximately 5.5 lakh students filled the form and 5 lakh students appeared for the exam in two shifts. According to student’s review the overall level of exam in
terms of technical was moderate and non technical this time was tricky and tough.

SSC JEn 2016 Non – Technical Section: What was in this section? Number Series, Words and Non – Verbal section was major in terms of question and was tricky and lengthy. Question from General Science was maximum rest was moderate. 5 Questions from reasoning was untrend and highly tricky.

SSC JEn 2016 Technical Section: How much technical was this section? In ME paper, FM and Thermal carried 60% weightage, CE paper was majorly from Estimation & Costing & Valuation, Hydraulics, Transportation & Environmental Engineering, EE paper was maximally prepared from Basic Electronics, Generation, Distribution & Transmission, Measurement & Instrumentation. Numerical section was simple calculative.

What will be cut? The present scenario depicts that this time cut off will be somewhere between as shown below for various branch for general categories are :

ME : 120 – 125

CE : 95 – 105

EE : 120 – 125

In Civil branch on 1 st March from Jaipur, number of candidates applied were 6852 among these 2108 were from UR category. Similarly on 2 nd , 3 rd & 4 th March approximately 3567 appeared each day. In Electrical/ Mechanical branch on 1 st March number of candidates applied were 2135 among these 648 were from UR category. Similarly on 2 nd , 3 rd , 4 th March approximately 2273 appeared each day.
